My wifes V710 is paired now as she is the primary driver. I want to pair mine when I drive it, but want to ensure hers remains paired...you know why, she'll never figure it out. So....

1. How do I pair a 2nd phone in my 06 525?

2. When the car senses both phones, how do you select which one you want to use paired?

Anything else I need to know?

add the second phone just as you added the first. it will take 4 phones according to the manual.

it seam to only reconize one phone at a time. or at least my jun05 545 does. and its usually the one that it last establish connection to. if you have named your phone, it will display that phone's name on the bottom left in the idrive window.

Go to the Main Menu, communication, then bluetooth. Add device via the second phone's bluetooth setup. You'll be asked if you want to pair them. After the phone is paired it will appear under the bluetooth setup list. The first phone in the list will be identified first. Therefore, if you drive and your wife is in the car, she will either have to turn off bluetooth on her phone, or go to the bluetooth menu in idrive and move your phone to the top position.
