I can confirm that V25.0 did allow me to pair (so does previous versions) my SE P910i but NOT beyond making or receiving a call Phonebook DOES NOT transfer too

I too would tend to agree with the-oniel on his statement

As far as I know none of the Nokia N series or SE P series work with the E60 BT (inc. progman V25.0).

Guys slightly OT: Can you, N95 owners, give us a objective feedback on how the phone is?! I've read alot of posts if forums and stuff, and i must say that i saw quite alot of bad or negative comments regarding this. Some of them were refered to:

"ill second that, it's not often you see a 8800 Sirocco. ive just ordered myself one after having four differnt faulty n95's. The n95 is just another one of the 'N series' with too many software problems!"

"n95 sucks. i brought las week and im not really satisfied at all. it has all this GPS thing and Map, but what the heck. you can only use that igf your in manila. how bout us who lives in cebu. they said that we have to download it and it will cost us to download that stuff. i dont think it's worth the price that i paid."

"Fact is - The N95 has problems with the slider. Whether Nokia sorts it out or not, doesn't matter. No-one wants to purchase a new phone, only to send it in for repairs the very next day. "

WARNING TO ALL!

Fact! The Nokia N95 has a construction fault that causes the slider to rattle between the two parts when opened to reveal the keypad.

The problem appears on 3 out of every 100 handsets on purchase. However, a further 23 out of every 100 will develop the problem over time.

Nokia will never announce this problem publicly as the cost or replacing all returned phones will be too high for them.

However, i have to admit, for the luck ones who will not suffer from this construction fault - enjoy it, for it IS the greatest phone on the market, and will be for a long time coming."

" Disadvantage No1) Low RAM! Only 64MB for this masterpiece is just rediculus! 20MB free memory after a reboot? So all these super extra feautures are wasted, cause you cant even have 2-3 applications running at the same time? Try to listen your favorite music in the background while ...web surfing and you will face the B.S.O.D. of the Nseries! (LOW MEMORY warning!)

Disadvantage No2) The screen resolution! Its size is superb (2.6") but at a 320x240 resolution?!! My N80 has 452x316 pixels resolution! So this means that if I want to upgrade to N95,I have to ...downgrade to that resolution??!! It is a multimedia phone for gods shake! Web surfing requires at least N80 screen resolution (not to mention 640x480!)"

Of course there are also good comments, about how briliant the phone is but there are so many negative comments, i didn't even belive it. You wouldn't find that many bad comments on much worse phones than this. It seems that many of them had way too high expectations especially for the price it bears.

Sorry for the off topic.

All I can say is go out and buy one and then decide for yourself. For me it's the best phone I've owned so far (have had, 8800, K750i, K800i, P800, 900, 910, 900i, N70, Moto V3 and many more I cant even remember!).

Now back to the topic - HAS ANYONE PAIRED THIS YET!!!??

I think I'm in the same boat as you. I was so disappointed that my new Nokia N95 didn't pair with my 2006 530M Sport I almost cried. So for a month now I've been bugging my local dealership - They provided me with a brand new 2007 X5 last week, which the salesman assures me is running the latest software/firmware - not sure of the version numbers though. (How can I find out what version my car is running?) Nokia N95 did NOT pair with the new X5 either. Obviously, my intention is to get any software upgrades that may help for free. Its not my fault it doesn't work right?! Hence, his provision of a new X5 motor, so that he isn't footed with an upgrade bill for the 6 hour upgrade process.

But reading some of the posts on the forum, I'm not 100% certain that nobody has managed to get the N95 Nokia to pair with an E60 BMW. So in short, can I re-iterate 535dMan's question. . . .

Has anyone paired the NOKIA N95 phone with an E60 BMW?

Thanks.

I had v25 upgrade completed yesterday though not sure what version of it. I have a Nokia E70 which is Symbian. It paired fine but no phonebook transfer.

I have an 05 535d which plays MP3/ipod (ie has had an upgrade, but some time ago). I successfully paired and received a phone call on my friends N95. No problems. Caller ID worked, I didn't wait very long so not too sure about the phonebook, but that didn't work with my samsung d500 either.

So, N95 does work.

Has anyone else got this to work as you're the only case I've heard of a successful pairing.
