Hi,
The audio quaity for people I call is quite poor (Nokia 6310i, with cradle, 530d, 05 reg but prob manufactured 04).

Most people find it difficult to hear what I'm saying, the sound they receive is very muffled and quiet.

I see from a search of the forum that I might be able to get a CIP upgrade?

How do I find what version I have now, whats the latest version and will it improve the situation?

Has anyone experienced bad quality from a Nokia 6310i via the BT system?

I'm using a 6320i via the bluetooth system - the cradle itself is irrelevant as it just charges the phone and links it to the external antenna.

Like you I have found people struggle to hear me during calls, which I think is down to the quality of the microphone - not helped by my preference for sitting low in the car (and hence far from the mike).

I've tested this out by moving closer to the mike and most people say - oh that's much better.
