I took my ten month old nokia 6230 into a nokia store to get a software upgrade which took a week, because the man from BMW said the new handset software worked on bluetooth on my new 535d sport, well im telling you he's full of s..t
If any one has a cool phone that transferes the phone book please tell me

I have just had the same prob. The first time i took it to a Nokia service centre the firmware they upgraded did not work either. It has to be at least version 5.26 I have the new 5.35 and my sim phone book syncs no problem. Do you have your numbers on your sim?
To check firmware press *#0000# on your phone

Yes, just saw on another forum you must have the numbers stored on the SIM not the phone for the 6230, then it works fine

No the sim is fine. The firmware is the software on the phone. My Nokia centre did it in 5 minutes while i waited
