my wife got new nokia 5800 a few days ago tried to sync it with 2004 e61 today and all the i drive says
is activate phone ,phone was switched on and bt was on but nothing tried old phone sony w850i and
everything ok any ideas thanks in advance

My Ride: E60 530d M-Sport
Same here with my 5800.........
After removing the pairing of my LG KG990 Viewty to check the Bluetooth was working on the car properly I discovered that now my Viewty cant see the car either tho, totaly confused......
Anyone ?

My Viewty never transfered phone book, not that arsed about that, hands free intergrated calling would be great alone...........

Finally managed to connect my phone to the BT, however it randomly drops the connection for no apparant reason ???
Phone book never transfered to my system either fwiw......

tried alsorts to get phone book to transfer
info on phone says best to use 16 digit code for handsfree phones tried it didnt work
tried sending individual contacts over no luck
made sure they were stored on phone memory not sim as someone else suggested
still no luck
anymore ideas
