My BMW stealer can not explain this clearly to me. I own an early E60 (07/'03) and have a BMW build in phone (incl. cradle) under my armrest. When going into the Idrive options it tells me bluetooth is activated. When I ask my stealer about it they tell me that the bluetooth is only used to connect the cradle with the Idrive and I can not simply connect any cell with this. This sounds stupid, but ...

I do not want 2 SIMcards. I want either a cradle that connects and charges my cell, or the option to leave my cell in my pocket and the car taking over when I 'm in the car. I'm up for a new phone, so I need to decide. My stealer is telling me to go with the old Nokia 6230i, since that is the best sold cradle.

Any info is welcome.

Not entirely correct, but close. The basic premise is that you cannot have both CPT9000 and bluetooth operating at the same time. If you choose to not go the BTUM route then there is another way to get there but that involves a new TCU (at your cost of ~$2000) and you can have one or the other (Bluetooth or CPT9000) . A better option for you should be BTUM. Go to these threads for additional info:
