n96 cant download address book

i can connect to bluetooth receive and make calls using bluetooth but when i go to address book a-z thing it doesn't show up my address book i have on my mobile 
any idea how to transfer or is my phone not supported?

wife just got nokia 5800 exactly the same paired it up can make and receive calls but
cannot transfer phone book

Have you looked the phones BMW has tested to see if your works or the one you plan to buy works? They have a list of phones and options that have been tested at BMW.com/bluetooth Scroll to tested phone. Shows two pages of phone and options that will work.

lots of posts on this subject and it's the symbian s60 operating software in the n95/96, 5800, etc. that your bmw does not support. you may be able to download a new version of the s60 for your nokia nokia from the nokia site but there's no guarantee it will work. i use a 6300 and it's fine just old.
