Today, Hormazd and I compared the voice quality of the "fixed" Motorola V710 with the "Stock" or standard Motorola V3 RAZR, over the Bluetooth connection.
The RAZR was better, not by much, but better. I have also experienced that the handset address book on the V710 does not update to the car as quickly.
I am going to continue using the V710 for a while, with the Texas firmware patch, but the regular Motorola Bluetooth profile really sounds like a land line, as compared to a speaker phone, and is clearly a better phone to pair with the Bluetooth connection.
Thanks for your time Hormazd, and it was good to finally meet you on the West Coast.

Immediately and easy connected via BT, Address book quickly transferred, mail command immediate available, quality voice very nice: in few words fantastic
Quite poor image taken in dark with V3 camera.

Does the BT connection transfer both the SIM and phone memory from the Razr V3 to the car? And does it show SMS messages on the BMW screen?

Just got the RAZR V3 linked with my car yesterday. Very happy with voice quality but a couple of times I noticed some voice echo. Anyone else have the echo and any ideas on how to fix it?
