I am wondering if someone can confirm if Motorola V551 is compatible with BT in the current 5-series? I found this phone to be pretty cool, but also want to make sure if compatible before buying... thanks again guys!!

You do not say where you are located. From a list at this link I would have to say yes. At least in USA. I was told by Cingular/AT&T that the v551 replaced the troubled v600 which had been known to be compatible for some time.

Just for who will be interested there is a new entry in the list:

Siemens S65 snap-in BMW part. number: 84 21 0 392 326

May be someone knows how to update that list.

I had a V551 - worked fine. It should also fit the v600 adaptor.

Phone works fine with the E60. Only thing bad about the phone is the battery life. Needs recharging every day.

Do you mean we can replace a cradle with it? If so, I would love to get it. Please let me know the parts #.

Welcome aboard.
My battery lasts for 5-6 days since I do not use my cell so often.
