I have heard the Motorola V551 is 100% compatible with the 5 series. Does anyone have this phone? Can you confirm it works 100%?

Thanks

It's one of the BMW approved phones... so it's about as compatible as you can get.

I have the V551 and have found it fully compatible. I have been told that I am hard to hear due to background noise. I think that is probably an issue with the TCU in the car or the microphone. My car is an April 04 build.

That is the part for the cradle; however there is an additional part or two for the trim plate. If you want I can find out the part number(s). Let me know

My dealer tells me that's all I need, so I agreed to purchase the part and they said they would install it for free ... but if you believe I need more parts, please let me know the part numbers (thanks)
