I got mine tethered and running with my macbook pro.
No signal indicator in my 5. The device itself rings through my speakers. No problem with pairing or address book transfer. There seems to be a lot of volume fluctuation, for example, when I call, the ring is super loud, so I back down the volume, but when the party answers, I have to turn it way up to hear them.
Also, verizon wireless synch does not work for crap. IMAP4 over the internet works great.

I use a Cingular 8125 Full Function PDA phone. It works thats all it matters, but I have verizon e815, works too! BMW iDRIVE should support MULTIPLE Blue-tooth Phones! agree or disagree?

Mine syncs right up immidiately, but I noticed sometimes after a call, the Q will dsiconnect from the car's bluetooth. Sometimes it comes back and sometimes not. Probably a software thang, my 5 has not seen the service bay for about a year, but I am due. I was gonna wait and do the oil, tire rotate and ipod kit install, but I just read that the ipod integration kit is delayed until september now! bummer.

I myself too wanted the Q TILL I had one in had and relise the tiny buttons, smaller buttons then the razr, since i am a tmobile guy i choose the Nokia E61, http://www.popularelect.com/nokia_e61.html great phone that handles all the features of the Q with the great build of the nokia brand. The size is very close to the Q but with a better button lay out and interface. I am a big MOTO fan but with this phone and my other pne the Nokia 8800 its hard to go back to MOTO with the high end quality that NOKIA offers. With Nokia you pay more but also get alot in return....just my .02

The i drive does support multiple phones - though only one at a time - i have the q and the e815 both connected
Is that what you meant?

FWIW, my 1st MotoQ died after 2 weeks. The OS shit the bed and the phone couldn't get beyond the Verizon splash screen. They replaced it with a new one and this one has lasted a couple of weeks now.
Pairs well with the E60 but seems to have a difficult time staying connected to the BT Headset (yes, it's even a Moto brand one). And no, I'm not in/near the car when I have the headset issue. I only use it when I have a loaner, my wife's ride or my box-truck.

I've been using a T-Mobile SDA for a couple months now. It works great.
I was waiting for the Q, but when I found out it was going to Verizon, that killed the deal.
Glad to hear the Bluetooth works, though. Verizon is notorious for crippling features on their phones and making you pay to "activate" them. Sounds like they might have put that shady business practice to bed.
