I have got an LG990 Viewty and this is the results to date compared to my old Sony K800i
Pairing OK
Call Quality/Recption - Much Improved (compared to K800i not in adapter, similar to it in adapter)
Stabilty - Better so far
Contacts - Not shown either from SIM or Memory
Incoming calls - details shown
Outgoing calls - not remembered
Still struggling with whether the contact info is a deal breaker. It works so well once you have called someone it is a pity, but trying to go through contacts on the touch screen is very difficult one handed bordering on lethal.
I did try with an iPhone belonging to a salesman. Did not get to try calling but the contact list came through fine once it paired. The iPhone also worked beautifully on my BMW iPod adapter, with all the sonds showing in iDrive. Unfortunately, it won't do these two things AT THE SAME TIME. As soon as you plug the iPhone in it goes into flight mode and the BT goes off and you have lost your phone functions. Did not have long enough to see if there was any way round this.
