K750i now giving problems
#1
I have had my e61 535d since November and my K750i has worked happily until last week. The car went in to have a BMW towbar fitted which requires some reprogramming for the car. Now my phone refuses to pair. The set-up procedure appears to be going fine until I enter the pass-key. The phone gets added to the list on the screen and the phone says its adding BMWxxxx etc. But the phone just stays on that screen until you switch it off and the phone drops of the list again after a minute or so of waiting.
A bit off topic but:
Another little quirk has been my Nav address book shows loads of duplicate entries and neither entry seems to work now, with the Nav getting stuck in the calculation screen till you eject the disk.
One last question, how do I see what firmware version the car is using?

I tried pairing with my son's phone (W900i) and found that worked. So I downloaded the latest software for the K750i and tried again. Everythign is back to normal now.

Where did you download the latest software Andy? I've got the same K750i, but it works fine for me.

I've just added my Sony Erricson S700i to my car, wroks great, so stupid I didn't do the pairing the first day I have my car. I might be upgrading my phone to Nokia N90 or 6280, does anyone know if there's going to be compatibility problems? Thanks.
