My Ride: On order: 2007 550i, silver gray, black leather, anth. maple trim, active cruise, heated steering wheel, sport, night vision, vent seats, heat rears, active steering, rear air bags, folding seats, comfort access, navigation , HUD, black head liner, steptronic, premium sound, sirius and HD radio.
I just read the latest SB on Bluetooth. Very interesting information. I am afraid to post because I think it is not legal. In summary it adresses all kinds of issues with intermittent pairing, sound quality etc. If you reply to this post with your specific problems I am happy to check the SB and tell you what it says. This is for North American builds ONLY.

SB's are generally freely available if you know the number, so if you post it or give me a private mail with the number ill try and put up a link straight to it

The part about not having a special character or missing name in your first phone book entry really works. Occaionally with my V710 my phone would need to be shut off and back on again to get the phone to pair with the car after I shut the car off and came back after sleep mode was entered. The first entry in my phone was *87 for voice mail. I changed that an the phone pairs ALL of the time.

I did not notice anything about the outgoing call 5 ring limit?
I certainly hope they are working on this. It seems like it would be such a simple fix with software. Why are they doing nothing?? I want to be able to call someone and leave a voice mail.
