I have the old tcu in my car(non bluetoth campatible). From what I've read on thus forum, my vehicle does have bt capabilities and I can pair my phone. However, I will not be able to speak through the vehicle mic and i will not be able to make out going phone calls. Does this mean I will be able to see incoming numbers on my screen? If so, after I have id'ed an incoming call, could I just switch to handset usage? I currently do not have the bt function actived in my car, also from what I've read, by activating bt and updating the computer sometimes the tcu will crash and i will need a new one. maybe even using my bt at half capacity will cause it to crash eventually? What do you think? Is it worth a shot? Or am I just dreaming?
