So I updated to the iPhone update which patched the SMS stuff. I don't recall what version. Ever since then my bluetooth in my car doesn't work anymore. What could be the problem??? How do I get it working again?

 

I think that was 3.0.1 update. Apple just came up with 3.1 (with iTunes 9.0). I had done the 3.0.1 and it worked fine with my '07 525i (with Nav) Bluetooth (all addresses transferred etc).

I would recommend that you first update to 3.1 using iTunes 9.0 and then try it out. Must be something specific to your phone? BTW, mine is the iphone 3G (not 3GS).

 

My 3G still works after both updates, 3.01 and 3.1

If all else fails Phil, try the following:

1. Back-up phone
2. Reset phone
3. Restore back-up
