Had a few issues with 2.1 but now I have no address book sync at all
This iphone idrive issue is a royal PITA
I'm gonna find me a phone that works - period.
fcuk this for a game of soldiers - I couldn't be bothered any more

Try unpairing and deleting iPhone from your car and vice versa. If your iPhone name has punctuation or spaces in it, change it to, say, "jim". Then try re-pairing with your car.

I had the 2g and I had problems with it. I had to add it to the idrive everytime I drove the car almost. I have the 3g now and it stays saved. No problems with it at all. I do have some problems with the phone itself though.

My 2G iPhone is now on 2.2 jailbroken and unlocked and everything is working fine. It may be my imagination but I'd swear it's quicker too.
