Iphone media snap-in high rate of discharge

Iphone media snap-in high rate of discharge
Hi fellow E60/E61 drivers
I have a problem I just can't solve.
I have an E61 from 7/2007. With installed CIC with snap-in adapter. Until last week I had an Iphone 4S and had a media Snap in. No problem, worked perfect.
Now i bought a new Iphone SE, and also bought a Snap-in Media for Iphone 5/5S/SE from BMW.
Whne i have that installed it works perfect, bluetooth and all, but I get a "high rate of discharge" after a couple of hours (no phone sitting in the snap-in.
Anybody have any idears?
