iphone 3.0
#1
My iphone with 3.0 software does not load my full address book like it did in previous version of software. I have a rather large address book (a bit over 1000 contacts) but this was not a problem in the past. I deleted the phone from and re=paired and still could not load the full address book. Anyone else experience this?

Most likely a limit on how many contacts can be loaded , of the system times out during the sync and you get a partial list.
1000 contacts? Like 2-300 is a bunch.
So far with the 2 iphones I've upgraded I had no issues with 3.0

Don't think it is a 3.0 issue. I upgraded to 3.0 on my 3G and had no issues loading 1,100 contacts. A few days later, passed the 3G to my wife and got the 3GS running the 3.0 and again no issues loading contacts. How long have you waited? I recall the first time my phone loaded that many contacts it took a while...

I don't think it's a 3.0 issue either. I've had the same problem with my iPhone intermittently, with several hundred contacts stored in the phone.

I had the 1st gen iPhone and updated to the 3.0 software, had no problems with syncing up the address book. Then a few days later got the new iPhone 3GS and still had no problems with syncing up the address book with the e60.

You meen your phone book to the car ? I don't really understand your question.
It's in the instruction book.

So, this one is REALLY a stumper if everyone else's FULL contact lists sync with car, mine did used to including all "recent" and "top" calls. Since 3.0 no recents, no "top" and only part of the contacts sync. I re-booted phone, still the same. I deleted phone, re=paired it and still the same partial list.
