Don't listen to them, I use TV all the time...I'd much rather listen to tv than the innane drivel on the radio....video in traffic jams is a bonus!
are you getting the terrestial digital tuner....if so, can you get the digital radio stations like planet rock and bbc radio 6????
enjoy the upgrades...you know it makes sense!

TV I don't know about. I reckon youy would have to spend an awful lot of time in the car to justify it unless it's really for the passengers.
Bluetooth, well all i can tell you is that when I was buying a nearly new E60 the BT sytem was top of my list of essential options. After 8 weeks with the car, I wouldn't bother to have it again. Problems as follows:
1. The sound quality is really poor. BMW are going to try and fix it this week, but I hold out no hope. I need to speak very loudly for the caller to hear, and I can hardly hear them. Very muffled
2. The number of easily available phones that are 100% compatible is close to zero. Vodafone offer only two compatible phones at present the SE T610 (now pretty old and not a great phone), and the SE T630 (much the same, slightly better in some ways I gather) which has temporarily (?) been withdrawn due to a software fault on new phones.
You can of course get an old phone, e.g. Nokia 6310 (incredibly dated now and the size of a house brick, and use it. Or buy a phone (do people really pay money for phones??) that is compatible, but not on the Vodafone list.
The compatability issue is a real pain the bum and looks set to get worse as fewer and fewer compatible phones are available. BMW have said there is little likelihood of any new Nokias being compatible. Latest SE phones also seem not to be.
When it works it's great, but .......

James, you have a good point on the BT. I'll try out my wife's bluetooth in the X3. I suppose systems are the same. I mostly use a P900, but I do have a small SE, don't know the type.
