Idrive displays last caller instead of actual caller

ATT 8525 paired with 6/08 build 550i, works ok but...
Seems that when I get my first call after entering the car with my phone, the number displayed is not correct. IDrive shows the number for the previous caller, rather than the actual number that is calling. I.e.: you're in the car, Joe calls, you talk, blah blah, you hang up and exit the car. You reenter the car with your phone later on in the day. Jack calls you but IDrive displays Joe's number?? Seems like a glitch that only occurs on that first call when you enter the car. After that, all future calls are displayed accurately.
Anyone else have this glitch?

Do a search -- this exact "glitch" has been discussed a few times before. I forget if the solution was to upgrade the software on the car or on the phone...
