I have an early 2007 550i, my iphone is a great phone except when answering calls, for a few seconds theirs a delay the caller hears me but I can't hear him. I just had the phone replaced by Apple and I'm still having the same issue, I have repaired the phone a bunch of times and keep WIFI off.

Any ideas would be helpfull, maybe I should trade the car???????????

I too had that problem in my 07 550 and I turned off the WiFi and it seems to work pretty good. It is spotty sometimes when I first begin the call but I think that is for the fact the bluetooth has not fully connected. When starting my car it takes about 10-20 seconds before the connection is up and running. I would get rid of the phone before the car.

same problem here... from second 2 to 7 I can not hear the person I am speaking to. I have eliminated this by restarting my iPhone when I get in the car.
