I don't know why people are suffering with unlocking and all the blah blah with apple iphone.

I have a Pocket PC, I used a iphone theme (/) and everything worked like a magic to me. Now I'm having the iphone experience in my Pocket PC.

I have a Verizon Curve. Works great. Great coverage too...This coming from a DIEHARD GSM fan.

I will be getting the new BlackBerry Storm when it comes out in October. Rumor is CDMA EVD0-A, Quandband GSM, WiFi, UMTS/HSDPA for roaming and TOUCHSCREEN!!!!

So, another recommendation for the Curve....

If you think you're getting the iPhone experience with a PPC and iPhone theme you're missing the experience.

The iPhone isn't the end all-be all but it's a nice phone. What's a good phone depends on your needs. I have used BB's, Treo's and PPC and they were all okay. The BB did the job and as a business tool it was sufficient but it was like driving an Accord or Camry.

WestCoast550 - what do you need? What do you want? ...in a phone? If you're using a basic Motorola without BT any phone will be an upgrade and you'll be stepping out of the 1980's The question is do you want to be in the 1990's or 2000's?

I've got to renew my phone . Up til now I've been using a basic Motorola ( no BT ) I'll likely get a Blackberry or something similar and wanted feedback regarding call quality , any thoughts ???

Thanks in Advance !
I really love Blackberry...It's easy to use and can store tons of stuff and the sound quality is crisp and clear, and the phone is intuitive.
