Before my HTC Wizard, (aka Dopod 838 here in Taiwan where it is made) I had the no keyboard, no wifi version of this phone and it didn't load the contacts. Before that I had a P900 and that didn't load the contacts either. Now it works wonderfully and I can control everything from the steering wheel. Wow...great feature this Bluetooth connection. Now I need to master the voice dial.

I will check my wife's HTC Prophet aka Dopod 818 Pro aka i-mate JAMin tomorrow and report back.

The Dopod 818 PRo can connect, but the BMW cannot read the contacts within iDrive. Kind of sucks. Whats the problem, anyone know? My old Dopod 818 had the same problem.

Could you clarify please? Does the Qtec9100 phonebook work fully with the BMW bluetooth? All entries stored on the phone and sim card are accessible? Multiple numbers for 1 person etc.?

Many thanks,

Mark.

Hi there. Any idea if the XDA IIs or XDA Atom will upload the contacts to the iDrive?
