How do you select the "Top 8"

Under the communication screen you can select numbers, A-Z, redial and other things, but how does the computer determine your Top 8? I have a Samsung I760 cell phone and I don't understand the top 8. It randomly assigns names to go in there. People that I call of course, but not the ones I call the most often. Also, it tends to reset itself periodically. Does anybody know what I'm talking about? And if they do, do you know how to set it so it can function like speed dial? Thanks.

I have the Blackberry Bold through AT&T and the Top 8 in my car seems to function fine (worked fine with my old 1st gen iphone too), but it only logs calls that I place through the idrive screen. If I use the handset it DOES NOT show up in the Top 8 when I return to the car. It's a nice feature since my parents, wife, and a couple friends always seem to land in the top 8.

I think the "Top 8" is the eight most recent inbound and outbound contacts.

Hello, rparik01 and everyone. I'm new here. I am curious if you solved the reset problem with TOP 8. Mine seems to work fine (most often contacts called from the idrive) but also resets itself from time to time. This makes my life difficult, because the voice system doesn't work to call contacts (I don't know why) and as I have many contacts it's very difficult to find somebody while driving.
