Help with Trio 650
#1
I had my SE 9oo stolen, which did not pair with my 535(cp20). I have been offered a replacement. Either a Treo 650 or a Nokia 9300. Both will be unlocked. Which will pair best. I would like to see all my contacts including home, mobile and work numbers. ease of use and synching capability with both PC and Mac
Thanks for your advice in advance

I've had the Treo for 6 months now. I find it very reliable; I don't find it quirky.
While listening to a conversation in the car using the car's audio system is very good, I always receive complaints that people have a difficault time hearing me - "sounds tinny", "sounds like your in the bottom of a well", etc. I say this because these complaints may be due to the phone or the car. Not sure.

I have a Nokia 9300. Not so good. Can only make calls, no telephone directory on the car. I have gone back to my 6310 which works fully.
I am disappointed that the 9300 dis not work and now am looking for a relacement. (the 6310 is 3 years old!). I'm told the Nokia 8800 have the same "internals (updated)" as the 6310 so that may be what I go for.
Any advice on what phone to get? I prefer Nokia.

Thanks for all these. Very helpful. I got a 700i as an interim measure until they issue the P990i. The 700i pairs really easily with the car and my Mac.

fenstermaker,
I have a Treo 650 paired with no issue (Cingular) and am in process of getting upgraded to a Verizon Treo 700. I was able to get a loaner for a few days as I was also worried about it working as well as my 650.
I am pleased to say it worked the same or better. The only thing about the 700 is that it is Windows Os and while better in a lot of ways, takes some getting used to.
Still no pairing of the phone book in either phone, but whatever names are in your speed dial locations are transferred over to the A-Z menu in the car.
Hope helpful,
