Hello all,
I just bought an 06 M5 this weekend, the car is awesome, I'm real happy with it, still trying to figure it out.

I can't seem to activate Bluetooth, I know the car has BMW Assist, and when I go to Communcations, Setup, and I highlight Bluetooth Activation, I try to hit the iDrive button, but it won't check the checkbox?

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Jan

What phone are you trying to pair with you car? Is your phone already in pairing mode when going thru your idrive menu?

I have an iPhone 3G, it wasn't in paring mode but it seems you need to "activate" bluetooth first?

Congrats on the new beast and enjoy the forums!! BTW, if the car is under warranty, why not just let the dealer sort it out?? Good Luck and enjoy that M!!

I synced my 3G with my 545i, just put it in pairing mode, and then hit pair in the iDrive menu. You decide the pin number.
