Requires a data plan and network access. If there is a data access or network issue you are SOL. Much better to have the maps on a memory card in the phone.
Actually its much better to let your company pay for your phone, including data plan and network access

Interesting to note the caveat... not usable with Verizon BB handsets.

Well... they have a competing mapping product. VZ Navigator. It's their network and they have the right to control the apps you run. Part of the AUP.
