Well, no one I guess has one of these yet. So, I picked up a NAM version yesterday. Nice device. Fantastic build quality, screen, reception and voice quality. I am dumping the iPhone 3G for this.

Pairs up fine. Seems to sync the phonebook too...So far no issues.

Hmm, I have a '06 520d which pairs ok but I don't get the phonebook anymore. My previous SonyEricsson K800i and various Blackberrys have worked fine.

Would you mind posting which firmware version you have on the phone and any settings that may affect this? Also, which software version your car is too...

Firmware 100.07.76
08/06/2008
RM 357

These are my firmware details. I, upon further inspection, am getting only the numbers listed as mobile in my phonebook synced. Not sure why...But, am investigating it.

my e71 synced fine with the bluetoouth. However it took longer than expected. ... has anyone tried using the map navigation with voice? For some reason the voices in maps are completely muted when the phone is connected... Any helpfull feedback on that matter?

I was actually playing with one yesterday in the office. Great phone, build and quality (materials) -- but never had a chance to try and pair it with the car.

I have a E66 (same phone without the keyboard) and it works great with the car. Everything sync flawlessly!

Glad I found this thread!

I've been able to pair my E71 with my E60 () but the unfortunate thing is, the connection seems to be VERY inconsistent. It keeps losing and re-establishing the pairing.

I put up another post on this (before I found this thread) - still hoping to hear some advice on the matter.

I paired my E71 yesterday morning and spent a day with it. Aside from not being able to sync the phone book at all, the connection was very stable until my phone slid between the center console and the seat, ending up in the back seat. Where do you keep your phone once you pair?
