Craig, if you were a lawyer, you could get this done immediately. Think about it. If you have any questions, contact Scott.

Nothing yet. forced528 is writing the codes for this app. No set date of completion. Stay tuned.

3Gs will load pages just as fast as the 3G. the only difference is that the browser will open faster when you click on safari.
Ummm part true.

As i understood 3GS has full 7.2 Mbs/s capability, however i don't think most of the carriers out there are providing that bandwidth.

3G = maximum of 14.4 Mbs/s for stationary users, and 348 kbs/s in a moving vehicle.

3GS utilizes the exact same network. there is no 3GS/3.5G network.

That said, your phone operates faster. network data transfer is identical.

the 4G or what is being referred to by some as 3.9G will have 100 Mbs/s for mobile operation under the governments long term evolution plan.

Hate to disagree Craig. The 3GS has a faster CPU and graphics processor. While the 3G and 3GS download data at the same rate, the device still has to process and display the data on the phone...which have both been upgraded on the S. Apple has been marketing a 2 -3 x speed improvement, which are quantifiable gains. If they were not, there would be lots of pissed off customers that did move from the 3G to the S.

well i dont know much about the hardware. I have spent years studying GSM theory and spent a lot of time in classrooms and working groups at a little place where there are a lot of nerds doing a lot of nerdy stuff. I was only referencing the network speed, not the processors in the device itself. that i dont know much about. i cant speak of the speed of the phone. i was just saying the network connection is identical.

Not in all areas... The 3GS supports the new 7.2 Mb HSDPA network (where it is available) whereas the 3G uses the standard AT&T 3G network which maxes out at half the speed of the 7.2Mb network.

ATT's HSDPA network explained... http://gizmodo.com/5295789/giz-explains-wh...rk-really-means

That said, just the fast processor on the 3GS (over the iPhone 3G) == more speed even when on the same network due to faster page rendering.
