one of the things that didn't jive with me going on e60 more often was that my 2g iphone was totally slow to serve up the pages, even on WiFi. Now after having the 3gs, it's a night and day difference and i do find myself on here more.

Would be dope if someone could create a quick app though...
3Gs will load pages just as fast as the 3G. the only difference is that the browser will open faster when you click on safari.

From my experience, it seemed like page loads were better. Reason being is i pinned my old 2g (edge, but supposedly same processor as the 3g version) phone against the 3gs (on the same wifi network)..web pages served up noticeably quicker on the 3gs.

Rudy and Lomag,

I think you guys should do something and create an app for iphone and charge the 99 cents. As the country is going thru economic hardship, it will be a nice way to bring some revenue into the site. Fewer people might be inclined to donate, but I believe most members can cough up the buck!!!!

My 0.02...

I'm in the middle of writing my app right now and project another 6 weeks to complete it. I can do the e60.net app but I will need to work with the admins to discuss the functions and workflow.

Someone else can do it if you folks need it sooner.

oh yeah, cause the volunteers are rolling to write an application. haha. my limits top out right around html.

if you are willing to write the app, i say GO FOR IT. and i do recommend you charge for your hard work. I am a contributor here, and would be more then thrilled to contribute some more to the person who creates the iphone app for this site.

i would pay well over a dollar for it.

Craig, if you were a lawyer, you could get this done immediately. Think about it. If you have any questions, contact Scott.
