When you say the LG works well, does the phone book transfer? My understanding is the OBEX is not activated on the LG making that impossible? Could you detail exactly what works/does not work with the LG?

I could not get the LG phone to work at all, it would just intermittently receive a call. When I called with my phone, the speakers/mic would work.....strange.

I then received a T608 phone and tried it. Works flawlessly.

I had exactly the same thing happen with my Nokia 6820. It paired to the car no problem but was never recognized by the vehicle. If you dialed a call on the phone it would use the car's speakers. I think there's a problem with the Bluetooth hands-free protocol in the phone. I then tried a Moto V710 and that didn't work either- it seems hacks are now available but i returned the phone during the initial 15 day period to avoid paying for a phone that might not work. Finally went to T-Mobile and got the Moto V600 and it instantly worked like a charm. Here in VA choices are limited, no Cingular/ATT- though they're coming in a few months.
