Rami,

Only place you can buy cradles (new) is a BMW Dealer, here is a list of what is availiable:

http://www.x5world.com/html.php?file=bmw_bt_phones.htm

You can't get one for an i-mate PDA2K, if that's what your after

Most people lately seem to prefer Nokia 6230i or Motorola V5XX/V6XX which both have cradles availiable

Great info. I'd like to get one for my Sony Ericsson T610. Does anyone know what they cost? What about installation? Thanks all...

Cost is around $90 in the US I believe. In theory installation should be as easy as literally snapping it in yourself (thats all I did for example), if you ordered your new car with the BT compatibility option - although the situation does seem to have varied in the US, depending on build date it appeared.

Cool. I have a new 530i on order (2006) and it's due for delivery in late October. So I guess I can just snap it in...

Thanks for the info...

I think this is incomplete info ("just snap the cradle in"). I think we need an adapter at least. I've read something about an adapter and connecting some sort of cable.

Depends on some options ordered with car - off top of head it is like 644 or 633. In any case it takes an eject box, a snap-n cradle that then plugs into the eject box, some trim and cover pieces, etc. Without the car coming with the generic (not phone specific) eject box and all the requisite trim pieces you are NOT ready to simply buy a snap-in cradle (phone specific) and go about your business. The cars internal power and antenna cables need be connected as well to the eject box. This should already be done in if one of those options is factory installed.

Good info., thanks.

I just wish someone knew what I can expect to pay to get all this done. I have a new 2006 on order that has BT enabled. I just need all these parts and installation. So just curious about costs. I have the Sony Ericcson T610 phone.

See my opening post here

http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=9111&hl=eject

The small pieces will be DIFFERENT for the E60, but major pieces are the same as on my E63

Also your phone cradle is: Sony Ericsson T610/616/637 84 21 0 304 298
All cradles are same price as far as I know.
