CPT9000
Is anyone with the cpt9000 still experiencing an echo? I bit the bullet and had one installed yesterday at Long Beach BMW for just under $900. I figured it was about my only sensible option since I have an early build car, 11/03, and didn't want to spend $3000 for a bluetooth upgrade. When I called my home phone and left a message to check on the quality of transmission there was an echo. Which software version should be installed on the vehicle when installing the cpt9000? Any help would be appreciated. After installing my 50 voice phonebook entries, my male companion in the computer sounded a little exasperated!
jtp.....I'll let you know. I finally bit the bullet too. Got fed up with waiting for the Bluetooth/Verizon fix. Everyone I spoke with was clueless. I should be getting the car in the next day or two, and I'll see what software my car will be running. I pray there are no echos.
I've had the CPT9000 for several months. It has worked perfectly since installation. Voice recognition is very good. I have not noticed any echo either sending or receiving. My car is a 04/04 build with software upgraded to 12.1 in July.
I am using AT&T-TDMA.
