Does anyone know if the SE K800 is compatible? Can you use the same snap-in adapter as for SE 750

yeah, I'll like to know as well, waiting for info on this phone for a while now. Anyone tested this phone with a E60?

I think the snap in won't work as the K800 is slightly longer than the SE K750

The K800 is 105mm long, which is the same as the K608.

I have a K608 and I pick up my K750 snap in adaptor on Saturday, so I will be able to tell you then whether it fits.

The K800 is also slightly wider and deeper than either the K750 or K608.

I see how tight a squeeze it is for the K608 and let you know.

K608: 105 x 46 x 19
K750: 100 x 46 x 20.5
K800: 105 x 47 x 22 mm

Hi eggz,

I was attracted to the features of this phone and have placed an order, arriving on 12th July. As far as I was told, it's not UIQ, not symbian and definitely not windows based - it is a SE proprriety OS which is rather similar with K750i - so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will work with the E60.

Have you gotten rid of your S65?

Someone (Ash) just posted that it works. My S65 is about to pack-it-in, I really need to get a new phone soon. Looks like it'll be the K800i

Unfortunately - No.

It is not even close.

I will continue to fiddle with it but I do not hold out much hope.

eggz, I just picked up my K800i this evening and am glad to report that it is compatible with the b/t in E60!
The contact list from the SIM card took a shorter than expected time to transfer over and voice clarity is good.

Time to go for yours too eh?

Cheers

That's great news Olivin, yeah think I'll go get one soon. Ash on another thread is reporting some problems sync-ing, any such problems? Pity there's no cradle. I guess our S65 cradles are now white elephants....

eggz,

The K800i behaved well for the first 2 days with no visible problem.

I started to configure it for email and started to receive sms and today, it started to pair and unpair erratically.

Otherwise its a beautiful phone.
