BTUM install with existing CPT9000 setup

My Ride: '04 530i Mystic Blue, European Delivery, Steptronic, Prem Pkg, Cold Weather Pkg, Nav, Heads Up, Active Cruise, Rear Sunshade, Rear Side Airbags, Rear Seat Heating, Park Distance Control, Xenon, CPT9000 GSM phone, red rear reflectors, Sirius!!!!
Question for those experienced with BTUM installed with an existing CPT9000 phone: Can you confirm that you do not have to go to the dealer for any programming update?

I don't have first hand experience but that is my understanding of how the BTUM works. You just pop out the old Motorola phone and pop in the BTUM. The car simply "sees" the BTUM as a phone -- the BTUM provides the Bluetooth link to your newer telephone...

Yes -- if you already have the CPT9000 working in your car, then just order the BTUM and plug it in the cradle instead of the V60 phone and that's it. On your new BT phone, have it seek out BT devices and then enter the passcode on the bottom of the BTUM and it should work.

I have one for sale at a discount if you want it brand new also have the cradle and eject kit all for 325 or just the btum for 250 let me know if you are interested. My tcu was replaced and i have bluetooth intergrated and i just love it.

Im sorry i ment 225 at the time, as that is what i paid for it 325 was for the entire kit (cradle eject kit and BTUM) it cost me 490 for the entire kit but, since i have not had any takers i have reduced the price a little more 180 for the BTUM 275 for the entire kit. You also have to take into account that i purchased it when the items first hit the market can you say MARK-UP prices.
