Bluetooth - Will it work with Samsung?
#1
Hey, I'm from Canada, and my dad has a 2004 BMW 545iA and I myself have an M3. I am visiting Hong Kong right now, and my dad wants me to get him a bluetooth phone.
I searched for all the compatibility charts on here, and I haven't found any that mention samsung phones. I'm thinking of getting the Samsung D500 phone, I think it's their first with Bluetooth. Does anyone know if it will work on our 545 (assuming that my dads car DOES have bluetooth)?
Thanks

welcome aboard, m3@apex ! i'm going to have 16.2 install this friday and hopefully they'll activate the bluetooth function for me. my gf has d500 and i'll try to pair it with my car. will let you know later. btw, it's a nice little phone but it's a bit outdated if you want something with more features .

m3@apex, i asked about the d500 and coincidently the "bluetooth" guy at the dealer has the same phone. he said it can only pair with my06, not my04 nor my05 . he knows a lot about cell phones because he told me he used to work in a cell phone shop but i'm still not 100% trust his words. you know dealers always say one thing and do the other .
