I remember reading recently about someone having a problem with the Bluetooth phone automatically hanging up before most voicemails answer. My question is has anyone found a way to increase the number of rings or time? I just had it installed today (BTW- Works great, other than this problem, and I love it) and am having a problem with the phone hanging up. Not a deal breaker, but an annoyance. Any help would be appreciated.

Same problem here.
The only workaround I've found:
- On your phone, drop the BMW handsfree connection
- dial the number from your phone
- in a matter of seconds, the BMW handsfree will connect automatically but because there was that initial delay, it won't hang up after 4-5 rings, it will actually let you leave a voicemail.
This works with my Motorola Razr V3 - can't guarantee on other phones. It's kind of a pain, but what else is a BMW lover to do? :'(

I read here that software V15x resolved this issue. I am still on V13.3 so would not know. I would love to get it fixed along with the sporadic echo for the calling party.
This problem is fixed.
I picked up my new car last week and tested this as I had read
about the 5 ring problem here. I had no problem.. there was no limit
and voice mail kicks in fine.
I don't know what version of software I'm running but I would assume its the
latest as the car was oly picked up last week.

I remember reading a post from a US E60 owner who had his software updated and it did not resolve the 5 ring limit.
Clarification on this would be helpful to me.... as I have a service appointment later this month, and may demand an update if that issue is proven to be resolved by an update.
