Hello everyone. I wanted to find out if anyone has run into a similar problem as I am experiencing.
When I bought my car (06 530i), I paired my phone (Sony Ericsson C902) with no problems and was using the bluetooth option for a month or so. When I was getting my windows tinted, I was able to see the car most of the time and all of a sudden the SOS began talking and thought that the car was being taken apart for some reason. Right away I came up to the car and told them that I am the owner and that everything is fine with the car.
Since that incident the bluetooth stopped connecting my phone.
When I go to the bluetooth menu, I am unable to turn the bluetooth off (the check mark always stays on.) The phone has not been able to get connected since then and I am really trying to avoid going to the dealership and paying $125 just for the diagnostics.
I also tried to call SOS and asking if they know anything about the problem, but they don't.
If anyone could recommend any solutions or methods to try and make it work again, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks to all in advance.

Seems like you've tried it but my bluetooth has stopped working a couple times and I would go in and delete the pairing in iDrive as well as in my phone and reinitiate the pairing process again and it would work.
