Hi,
I've got a new phone, a Sony Ericsson K700i.
When I try to connect it to my E60, it connects and disconnect all the time..
Anyone with the same problem ??
It works perfectly with my old Nokia 6310 i

Peter

Well,
I'm also interested in this topic, since my current SE T68 has the same problem (connect & disconnect).
One of my options was to buy the new SE K700i, but BMW (dealer) keeps telling me that this phone is not supported (although there are other rumours).
The only SE's that are available for E60 (E61, etc...) are the SE 610 & SE 630. (and some other old ones). But these are old phones!
What I miss the most, is some clear informative news from BMW about the phones that will be supported in (near) future! <_<

Try deleting all your SMS messgaes...a few people have reported that this helps.

Delete all of your Inbox and Sent Items SMS. The problem is that the SMS handling in the bluetooth kit is still very immature. When the SMS memory is full it goes into this connect/disconnet loop. The 6310i doesn't have this problem since the phone itself cannot accept a large number of stored SMS. Keeping a habit of deleting my SMS's the K700i worked for me like a charm.
