My Ride: (Expecting Oct. 2004) 2005 530i Sport package, premium sound package,premium package, xenon's, HUD, sat radio, cold weather package, navagation

Does the 05 come with bluetooth standard or is it a add on and what phone works best the system?

I have been trying to get a straight answer to that question (along with many other people) for the last few months. Good news is that it appears from this thread that those picking up My05s that blueooth is active:

Can anyone in the U.S. with MY05 confirm how BT is working?

Hey,

I paired a SE K700i to my 2005 645Cic and it worked well with the exception of SMS messaging, which did not show up. It was very easy to pair and the sound quality is good.
