My Ride: 530d august 2004 ex demo car got the lot on it. leather & sat nav pro etc..Titanium Gray II Metallic Black Dakota Leather
with Dark Poplar Wood Trim got it nov 15 2006. Best ride. last car was Ford capri 28i 1985
what do u need to connect a nokia 6230i for my 530d august 2004

Have you attempted anything yet? Does your car have any references to Bluetooth in the settings menu (under communications?) I'm not sure what else to start with until I understand if the car even supports BT yet...
The 6230i does pair but some firmware versions (maybe all versions) don't show the signal strength indicator on the central display. Also, the only contacts that transfer are the ones stored on the SIM card.

My Ride: Its a 535d M-Sport... 19" Alloys, Carbon Black, Lots of bits and I love it!
I use the 6230i on mine... as long as you have the BT connection on the communication settings and you pair the devices, their should be no issues!
