I just had bluetooth activated. I was disappointed to notice that a contact address doesn't display. i.e. Not able to use the contact address in NAV.

Is there a way to upload address books?

Also, say I'm in the iDrive screen area of Entertainment.. If you press the steering phone button, this automatically calls, I guess, the last number dialed. I would expect it to switch the screen to contact listings so I'm able to select a contact and call. ?

First off what phone are you trying to use?
You may have to pair the phone and then send the contacts over as business cards, this seems to be especially true of the later Nokias whose bluetooth protocols seem to be flakey!
Oh! and if that is the case you will need to send them in blocks for example A-C D-F etc etc.

Try sending them as business cards one or two at a time and see how you get on!
The iphone should work just fine.

Ok first off I don't have an iphone so someone else here should be able to point you in the right direction!
If you look at your contacts is there an options tab? It may be listed under there.

I have an Iphone 3G, I just paired my phone and it automatically shows my address book after I pair it. Make sure your bluetooth on your Iphone is on before you start the pairing process, after that go on your menu and look for pair phone under the communication part. Tell us how it goes, hope it helps.

Ok. I'll try to pair it again in that order. I've also read that unusual characters in the address book could cause it not to load.
