Bluetooth disconnects when phone rings

Have a 2006 E61 which has a weird problem.When anyone rings me the bluetooth disconnects this only started about a month ago was fine before then. Ive tried unpairing and pairing again still does it the bluetooth works fine phoning out. It does seem to be a phone problem as my wifes phone works fine. Anyone got any solutions.
