My Ride: Current... 2005 545i Black/Black/Anthracite, Sport Package, Steptronic, Logic 7, Comfort Seats, Cold Weather, Fold Down Rear, Sirius.

I have Verizon wireless and need to make a decision this weekend on a bluetooth phone. Last time I checked BMW's site, the only phones guaranteed to work were Motorolas, (700, e815 and Razr).

Has anyone tried to use a Samsung or LG bluetooth phone in their car?

I tried to pair my sister-in-law LG VX8100 to my car and it works perfectly. I hate my Motorola E810 because of its stupid menu and interface arrangement. I had non-BT LG before and I love its interface. Extremely easy to use.

Were you able to get the address book to sync on the 8100? I wasn't able to get the address book to synch so I switched to my Blackberry as the primary and 8100 as the secondary pairing.
