Bluetooth connection

My Ride: 2004 525dA E60 Safire Black Met.
Hey! I have a SE w850i and the bluetooth in my car (525 D/2004) can`t find it. Is this a problem with all cars? or does this phone simply not "fit" my car??

Are you able to pair other mobiles with the car? It's unlikely the two devices won't find each other (there are some problems I've noticed with the W810i but it pairs without a problem). Try another mobile and let us know.
