bluetooth connection

My Ride: 2005 545i 6spd sport, nav, cwp,sirius,logic 7. on order 128 wheels non run flat tires.
Tried to connect the bluetooth phone to my 545i 2005. Get it all done and the cell phone says failed to connect. I know the phone works because I paired it to my 2005 m3 no problems and it works beautiful. What's the problem with the 545 connection. CHET

My Ride: 2006 530xi. Deep green with beige interior. 6 speed manual. Premium package.
There is a time limit you have between each step - took the dealer several times to get mine to sync up

I couldn't get mine to work and BMW stayed on the phone with me untill we solved the problem. If you decide to do so, call from another phone while you're in the car. Good luck!
