There are a bunch of threads regarding this, but the easiest way to say is that if the car was made prior to Mar 04, then it's expensive and difficult. After March 04 (including March of 04), then it's fairly easy for them to enable.
My car was made on March 3, 04, and the TCU isn't compatible. If I replaced the TCU, then it most likely would work (a $2000ish decision).

You'll have to have your software upgraded to 13.2 (at a minimum) and you may need some software for a VO (vehicle order) but with a 09/04 build you should need no additional hardware or wiring. Your dealer may or may not charge you one hour of shop time to activate it (don't pay more than that). Check out "bluetooth" in my signature for my rundown. With the right phone and right service, you should be fine.

Can we install the or pair the Bloothoption or is it something that the delar needs to hookinto a central computer? My car was build 7/04 and reading from this forum (great database) it seems like mine is ready for pairing? Can I just perfom this task onmy own?

Thanks for the input, will take the car to the dealer as soon as it is out from the bodyshop and upgrade teh software and activate the bluetooth. Can I install a NAV system on my own with my mechanic? The back seat and the trunk is out and all the wires and instruments are very easlie accesible therefore I am trying to take advantage and possibly install the NAV and Satelletite radio, do I need to buy additional equipment or just a DVD and software for nav and a satellite box for radio? My Car is 7/04 production!
