I have it on my E60 with no addional charge. But I don't know if it come with a package. I have Permium, sport, a Nav package.

I believe it's standard on US E60s as of MY05.

daveyboy, based on your sig, yours built 06/04 and i think all you need to do have the dealer to update the sw. you can tell them there is something wrong with your idrive and they'll update it under warranty. however, this doesn't mean they'll activate the bt for you. they might charge you labor for that. but let them charge you more than 2 hours and there is no other parts needed.

Alohalc is absolutely correct. There should be no hardware required given your build date. Have your dealer activate the BT in your software and you should be good to go. Your car is new enough that you should not need a software update.
