Blackberry Storm Info
Many people seem to have the Storm on here so I wanted to make sure that you do update your phone's operating system. The one that is current from Verizon (as of this writing) is 4.7.0.75 the bversion that is available for download is 4.7.0.99.
The difference in the phone between these two version is night and day. The battery lasts for about 3 d-4 days now, The phone is much faster and there are many other improvements over the version that Verizon has.
The largest source of Blackberry information is CrackBerry.com
There you can read about the latest Operating system versions and their pros and cons and determine if you would like to download the latest OS that Rim has "leaked". At this point the carrier has determined that they do not want to "officialy" release the OS because of no significant changes or bugs or whatever reason that they chose.
They also tell you how to install the OS.
Just make sure that you get the right one. Verizon's is the 9530 and Vodaphone is the 9500 I believe.
Like I said, the lastest as of this post is is 4.7.0.99 but I am currently staying ith 4.7.0.90(which is much better then the one shipping on the Storm) because of a couple of cosmetic differences between .99 and .90.

+1 with regard to crackberry.
I installed the .99 version yesterday. So far it is the best one by far for me. I had problems with random reboots with the .90.

That "official 113" is being debated right now. It's not officially official.
Really, it has a few problems and I can't believe Verizon would actually release one that has known issues. Personally, I am currently using .109 and will wait for the official update. Version .109 has been the most stable for me up to this point. Of course, ask 10 people which version is best for them and you'll get probably 5 different answers.
